Flaare Session 1: INTRODUCTION / PRODUCT DESIGN 1

Last week marked the start of the Stööki x FLAARE initiative - an opportunity created with the aim to teach, help and encourage young children to explore in thrive in the creative and entrepreneurial
industry.

Our first session was a great introduction, showing the students of HLP around our studio and Thames-side studios, then we had a productive brainstorming session consisting of teaching, crafting and moodboarding. Showing the students around Thames-side Studios campus and inside the main Stööki Studio

Icebreakers - Each student and member of staff to introduce themselves and what they want to get out of this project. Each person nominates someone to go next.

Project Introduction - Stööki & FLAARE teams to talk about the project and the main goals to achieve by the end of it. Discussion around price points / creating samples vs how many real product / what materials need to be ordered?
Moodboarding - Students start to brainstorm any initial ideas sparked by the introduction

Group Discussion - Each student presents their ideas 1 by 1, taking on constructive feedback made by the rest of their peers. Important: Must compile materials list by the end of this session so everything is ready to order in time for making session.

Where to next? The students are designing the social campaign, Everpress and marketing launch. Prepare to pre-order! This campaign goes live 2nd December when the students will hit the catwalk to lead a fashion show! Come and celebrate at the student fashion show daytime event (14:45) or join us that night for the FLAARE launch party (8-till late!).
